Beijing–Xi’an. Fly to Xi’an, an archeological treasure trove in central China. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. (B) |

Xi’an–Guilin. This morning, marvel at the Terracotta Warriors that have been standing guard at the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huangdi, for over 2,000 years. Later, fly to charming Guilin. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. (B) |

Guilin. Today, cruise on the tranquil Li River and be transported far from modern civilization. Mystical mountains surround you as you pass rice paddies, fishermen on bamboo rafts, and water buffalo grazing in the river. Return to Guilin for time at your leisure. (B,L) |
